The Way I See It

These beautiful lilies were part of my Mother's Day gift.  We enjoyed watching each of the blooms open.
While sitting at the table one day doing our school work.  We noticed that this bloom looked like it was looking right at us menacingly.  What does it look like to you?
The kids and I thought it looked like a snake head staring down at us.
This bloom tried so hard to open but it just wasn't ready.

Although it looked like it was going to burst open at any moment, it couldn't.

Notice the sides bulging out.

Wanting to show off all it's beauty.

It never made it~

Reminds me of how we sometimes try to hard to do something that isn't for that moment

It may not be the wrong thing but it is the wrong timing.

Off to enjoy my hubby~today is our anniversary~18 years~

That's a great reminder. And the tulip is lovely even if it didn't open. Thanks for sharing that - and for stopping by my site and leaving such a sweet comment!
I like your ruffly pillows too!
