Yummy Yarn

My dear son has an art class each Tuesday afternoon.  While he is enjoying his class I usually go explore the local neighborhood.  The art class is an a little old town not too far from us.  It is one of my favorites.  The streets are filled with all kinds of little shops that I enjoy visiting.  There are quite a few consignment shops located on one main road that runs through that town and a couple of other towns.  One day while looking for some thrift stores I saw this great little yarn shop-Unwind.  I pulled right in and was automatically in love with this little yarn shop.  They have so many wonderful yarns.  It was hard to choose.  The walls are lined with cubbies filled with the softest, warmest and silkiest yarns I have ever felt.

I had been wanting to crochet a neck warmer.  I came upon this incredibly soft and chunky yarn. It is Misti Alpaca 100% percent baby alpaca.  I had to have it.

It is such a pleasure to work with.  Although I can't wait for the neck warmer to be completed so I can use it, I hate to see this yarn finish.  It is so fabulous.

While I was there the clerk showed me a closet with clearance yarn.  I couldn't get any happier.  This fabulous yarn was 75% off.  It was originally $10 a skein.  It was a steal and I couldn't pass it up.  The only rule was that I had to buy all 5 skeins~I was ok with that.  Now I need to find the perfect project to use it.
My name is Ruth and I'm a yarnaholic.  No I can't show you my stash~Ok, maybe just a peek some other time.

Yummy indeed!
Beth's studies are center around women but we have a few men in our class..hehe. I'm not sure it's for smaller kids but a teen I think would benefit. Hope this helps some~

I love the way that yarn feels, but I have no idea how to knit or crochet. Can't wait to see what you do with it. I have probably been to that town you love since my cousin is from Rhode Island!!
