I have so much to post and many pictures to share with you. One of the first pictures I want to share with you is this wonderful sewing machine that my dear husband surprised me with. I have so much to learn about it. It has so many embroidery stitches and alot of other excellent features. I can't wait to show you all the pretty things I make with it.
I have been having some fun putting our our fall decorations. I had some wreaths and other things I had made for a craft show last year. They were left over and just sitting in the basement. I decided to go through the bin and see what goodies I could find.
I had made this wreath and scarecrow separately. I decided to combine them. I think it looks great and I have it hanging on my door to welcome fall. Fall is one of my favorite seasons. I love the cool, crisp weather and the wonderful smells. It is wonderful to be able to turn on the oven and make all kinds of wonderful meals. I miss baking in the summer. It is too warm and I don't like to turn on the oven but once the cool weather approaches I have the oven going all the time.
These pictures are of our living room curtains. It is hard to see but the trim is added to the edges of the curtain. I was so glad to complete this project and hang up the curtains. Of course that involved some major window cleaning. They were a bit neglected from all the days of crocheting and sewing this trim.
Dear hubby had a birthday last week. I decided to make him some sweet treats. I made sugar cookies and these yummy chocolate covered pretzel rods.

Here is our greenhouse in the making. I saw the plans for this in the MaryJane's Farm~July/August issue. Hubby asked his friend to come and help since he had a broken foot. It still needs the back and then the plastic. If we have a weekend with no rain hubby will be able to finish it off. I will have lettuce, kale and some herbs in here through the winter. I hope they grow well. I will also start our seeds for next year here.
I am working on a tutorial for the scarves I made. I will have more details about that next week. There is also going to be giveaways for both of the scarves you see. Check back soon for more details.
Have a great weekend!!
